- Work closely with business and other team members to design, build, and deliver declarative or programmatic solutions within scope and objectives. Test and debug solutions. Meet documentation requirements.
- Provide accurate and effective direction and technical expertise to other less experienced personnel. Direct, instruct and coach assigned team members in order to meet project goals.
- Demonstrate a commitment to Total Quality and the process of continuous improvement. Identify and respond actively and with sensitivity to the needs of all customers and be open and responsive to change.
- Remain knowledgeable about current and new technology related to all aspects of information processing by researching technical materials, attending seminars, staying up-to-date on release notes and trailhead modules, training classes and consulting with personnel from other industries.
- Lead or serve on IT ad hoc committees as assigned. This may include research, problem solving, information organization and documentation.
- Conduct evaluations/assessment projects leading to make or buy recommendations.
- Four-year university degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or similar
- Certifications: Salesforce Certified Platform Developer, Salesforce Administrator & Developer I
- 5+ years of Salesforce experience developing and managing applications on the Force.com platform
- Demonstrated deep technical knowledge with the following:
- Visual Force, Apex controllers, Triggers, APIs, Governor limits, Web Services and Batch Jobs.
- Salesforce.com, Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, PRM, Communities and Salesforce Integrations.
- Salesforce.com data model and how and when to create custom objects vs. using Salesforce out-of-the-box functionality
- Understanding of object-oriented concepts and design patterns
- Demonstrated experience working as part of an Agile development team
- Implementation/integration experience on a global or enterprise level
- Experience using source control system (Git, Bitbucket or SVN)
- High level requirements gathering, ability to translate into technical specifications
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated ability to read, analyze and interpret business periodicals, professional journals, and instructional manuals
- Ability to write reports and other varied business correspondence and present information effectively both written and verbal
- Strong analytical ability to perform full range of system design and programming responsibilities utilizing state of the art concepts, techniques and languages
- Ability to define problems, collects data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions and effectively adapt to rapidly changing technology
- Knowledge of business management concepts, techniques and functions
- Knowledge of project management techniques and ability to lead small to medium sized projects or development efforts
- Ability to accurately estimate deliverables requirements into development hours
- Strong leadership capabilities, self-motivated, pleasantly aggressive and realistically ambitious with high personal ethics
- Must be able to work independently as well as a member of a team, as well as work with confidential material and information
