If this sounds compelling, join eBay!About the TeamThe eBay Motors group is a multi-billion dollar GMV portfolio with significant growth potential that includes some of the largest businesses on eBay: Vehicles, Parts & Accessories (P&A), Business & Industrial, Heavy Equipment and WHI (Nexpart B2B Marketplace).We are currently recruiting for our Sr. Category Manager-Tires, a segment with broad buyer opportunity that has been identified as a top corporate growth priority. This role will report to the General Manager of Tires & Wheels and will be based in Portland, OR.About the RoleThe Sr. Category Manager-Tires will be a critical contributor to the end-to-end success of all tires, wheels, and related transactions on eBay. The role will support the GM in building the strategic growth plan for this key category, identifying and prioritizing opportunities, and managing the P&L. Leading day to day operations, the Sr. Category Manager will partner with the eBay Motors cross-functional team to drive critical initiatives and deliver key outcomes: GMV, revenue, profit margins, buyer satisfaction, and seller effectiveness.If you are strategic, results-driven, consumer-focused, skilled in relationship-building, have a strong sense of accountability, and are ready to make an exciting move, we would love to hear from you!Key Responsibilities:

• Help set the vision and define the growth strategy for the Tires & Wheels category
• Own the day-to-day management & operations of key Tires initiatives including external partnerships
• Leverage data-driven insights to influence digital product innovation / UX / UI
• Optimize P&L levers influencing volume and profitability across the business
• Foresee challenges and enthusiastically tackle troubleshooting with a solutions-first approach
• Think big-picture to drive strategic product, communications, merchandising, marketing, partner services, and inventory initiatives, improving buyer & seller satisfaction

• 7+ years professional experience with increasing responsibility in digital retail or similar online business. Startup and/or management consulting experience valued
• BA/BS required, post-graduate business degree (for example MBA) a plus
• Broad functional experience with proven success in leading diverse teams including marketing, product, operations, customer insights, and seller/account management
• Strong influencing & relationship-building skills
• Experience working in a heavily-matrixed environment
• Excellent decision-making skills, focused on identifying and prioritizing the highest impact opportunities with imperfect information using the data available
• Consumer-focused and growth-centric approach to driving performance against agreed critical metrics, strong understanding of the P&L
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to tell an elegant story backed by data and provide leadership-ready recommendations
• Excellent project management skills, problem-solving skills, and a passion for bringing great ideas to life
• A strong ambition to grow professionally. A passion for working hard, learning and adapting, providing constructive feedback, and having fun!

• Interest and/or experience in the Motors segment a plus
