Job Description

We are looking for Graphic designers who uses their artistic abilities to communicate ideas, inform consumers, and solve problems. You’ll be a self-starter, capable of delivering brilliant creative ideas, and show amazing attention to detail. From the layout of a website to large images seen on billboards, graphic designers create and edits visual concepts by all means to help others interpret the world around them through color, texture, images, and symbols. Graphic designers are responsible for all aspects of a company's design process, or specialize in a particular field such as advertising, digital design, illustration, or branding.

Responsibilities, but not limited to:

  • Plans concept by studying information and materials
  • Establish creative direction for the company as well as brand guidelines
  • Prepares work to be accomplished by gathering information and materials
  • Illustrates concept by designing rough layout of art and copy regarding arrangement, size, type size and style, and related aesthetic concepts
  • Obtains approval of concept by submitting rough layout for approval
  • Prepares finished copy and art by operating typesetting, printing, and similar equipment; and purchasing from vendors
  • Prepares final layout by marking and pasting up finished copy and art
  • Ensures operation of equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer’s instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs; maintaining equipment inventories; and evaluating new equipment
  • Completes projects by coordinating with outside agencies, art services, printers, etc.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
  • Ensure projects are completed with high quality and on schedule
  • Prioritize and manage multiple projects within design specifications and budget restrictions
  • Perform editing, retouching and manipulation of images
  • Work with a wide range of media and use graphic design software
  • Work with copywriters and creative director to produce final design
  • Coordinating with outside agencies, art services, web designer, marketing, printers, and colleagues as necessary.
  • Communicating with clients about layout and design.

Qualifications

Qualifications/Skills:

  • Strong graphic design, Layout, Analytical skills
  • Creativity, Flexibility, Attention to detail
  • Deadline-oriented, Time-management skills, Communication skills
  • Desktop publishing tools and graphic design software
  • Acute vision
  • Able to give and receive constructive criticism
  • Bachelor's degree in graphic arts, design, communications, or related field
  • Knowledge of layouts, graphic fundamentals, typography, print, and the web
  • Familiarity with HTML and CSS preferred
  • Knowledge of Adobe Photo Shop, Illustrator, Sketch, InDesign, and other graphic design software
  • Compelling portfolio of work over a wide range of creative projects
  • Proficiency with required desktop publishing tools, including Photoshop, InDesign, Quark, and Illustrator
  • Understanding of marketing, production, website design, corporate identity, product packaging, advertisements, and multimedia design.
  • Experience with computer-aided design.

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, industrial design, or interior design, or equivalent experience
  • 23 years of experience in graphic design
  • Proven graphic designing experience
  • A strong portfolio of illustrations or other graphics
  • Familiarity with design software and technologies (such as InDesign, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, Photoshop)
