Sr Project Manager

RESPONSIBILITIES:Kforce has a client that is seeking a Senior Project Manager in Phoenix, AZ. The Senior Project Manager manages product development projects comprising cross-functional teams. These projects range in scope from field escalations to major product upgrades within a product line.Responsibilities of the Senior Project Manager: Senior Project Manager executes responsibilities in a matrix type organization Establishes requirements, costs, and schedule targets Plans activities, assembles the team and other critical resources Senior Project Manager manages the project from planning start through production unrestricted release following the PDR guidelines Develops, defines and executes project plans. Is responsible for meeting the project objectives including performance, cost, schedule, budget targets and deliverables Manages project schedule and task details by utilizing project management tools such as reports, tracking charts, checklist and project scheduling software Identifies and assures needed resources for projects are committed Senior Project Manager defines and assigns major project roles Interfaces with Global Product Support engineers or field-based employees on project matters, as needed Monitors work of project from initiation through release providing support and direction; Escalates issues until resolved or mitigated Participates and/or runs project reviews, both technical and non-technical. Monitors and reports to senior management of project's performanceREQUIREMENTS: BS in related Engineering field, MS or MBA is a strong plus 8+ years total experience in a technology related field. 3+ years of experience in engineering, product management, marketing, manufacturing, materials, or field operations in semiconductor manufacturing industryKforce is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
