Senior Network Security Analyst

RESPONSIBILITIES:A Kforce client is seeking to hire a Senior Network Security Analyst in Anchorage, Alaska (AK).Responsibilities include: Provide senior level support for recommendations and implementation to secure and harden all network assets across the agency Senior Network Security Analyst will provide operational security focused support to conduct security posture assessments, perform impact, risk assessment analysis, and/or vulnerability mitigation Support established Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) Security Technical Implementation Guidance (STIG) implementation and validation procedures and the routine onsite inspections for all network devices maintained by the agency Senior Network Security Analyst will support setting up, maintaining, validating, and optimizing any automated audit that report on network security related tasks Assist with the planning, design, implementation, and monitoring of security measures to protect against cyber-attacks, hacking attacks, and intrusion of the network architectureREQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in Engineering or IT related discipline Minimum of 8140/8570 IAT II and Certified Systems Engineering Professional (CSEP) required Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) Security; Additional Cisco or Palo Alto Certifications 8+ years of experience in securing enterprise network environments An understanding of National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) 900-53A, Center for Internet Security (CIS) Critical Controls, and DISA STIGs Strong technical writing skills to include PowerShell, CLI, and REGEX experience May be subject to non-standard work hours Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified informationKforce is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
