Project Manager in

Kirkland, WA to join our client's Business Tech team and advocate for the users, talk to business owners to understand their business and need, formulate strategy, define scope, build schedules, read a room, get people on board.

WHAT YOU GET TO DO:
  • Provide coordination and direction regarding the project, development and execution.
  • Interact with project sponsors, various teams, and other individuals to define and deliver complex cross-functional projects.
  • Analyze, plan and develop requirements and standards in reference to scheduled projects.
  • Monitor project progress continuously and make detailed scheduled reports on measurable items, such as milestones and deliverables.
  • Determine and define clear deliverables, roles and responsibilities for staff members required for specific projects or initiatives and oversee the daily tasks while ensuring all project team members are actively working toward established milestones.
  • Research and evaluate hardware and software technology options and weigh the cost/benefit analysis when making large purchases on behalf of the company.
  • Anticipate bottlenecks, provide escalation management, anticipate/make trade-offs, and balance the business need versus technical constraints.
  • Gain consensus on technical decisions and assure appropriate policies and processes are followed.
  • Identify, assess, track, and mitigate issues and risks at multiple levels.
  • Drive effective teamwork, communication, collaboration, and commitment across disparate groups with competing priorities.
  • Attend and drive regular cadence of project status meetings.
  • Ensure all parties and project participants are fully-aware of tracking milestones and timelines.
  • Partner with other project managers across Technology, Operations, and other LLC PMO to foster consistent application of project management principles.
  • Collaborate with in-house finance, travel, business operations, technology teams, and external professionals by promoting teamwork, focusing on the vision and mission of the project, team member development, and evaluating and recognizing superior performance.
  • Manage the design process; promoting innovation and accountability.
Budget Responsibilities:
  • Develop and manage a budget for technology related projects. Identify needs, build business case for budget items, and ensure spend is according to policy.
  • Report budget items and overall status to other teams and key stakeholders for capital projects.

WHAT YOU BRING:
  • 5+ years of project management or release management experience.
  • Demonstrated team leadership capabilities, including a collegial and inclusive working style.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills with stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
  • Service Now experience preferred.
  • Experience with software development methodologies such as Waterfall, Scrum, and Agile.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Business, or a related field.
Must be able to work for a US based company without requiring visa sponsorship.
