- Act as the Blue Yonder System Specialist/Super User and serves as the gatekeeper for Supply & Demand Planning tools / applications to make sure things run smoothly and
- Ensure configuration and maintenance of user access is completed accurately and timely.
- Collects and studies department and performance data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement
- Creates flowcharts, process maps, and diagrams. May deliver training to the department
- Ensure updates, status and completion information is communicated to stakeholders accurately and timely
- Ensure technical assistance is being provided to all members of the Supply & Demand Planning team; addresses escalated technical issues
- Creates and manages configuration for new stores, inventory set-up, store closing processes, etc. in Supply & Demand Planning solution. In addition, communicates configuration updates across functionally with Finance, Master Data, Helpdesk, etc.
- Maintains master data integrity within Supply & Demand Planning solutions and system of record as it relates to Vendors and Products.
- Collaborate with IT and functional experts to resolve issues with a strong sense of urgency and ability to prioritize as necessary.
- Monitors, troubleshoots, and resolves application issues, performance errors, including communication and follow through with software supplier and internal Discount Tire departments.
- Facilitates monthly/as needed meetings with Business & IT to ensure that system functionality is optimal, discuss system issues and resolutions, and any activity that will affect Supply & Demand Planning or the department.
- Participates in end user testing for all solution upgrades and IT changes that affect Supply & Demand Planning and/or the department.
- Oversees, mentors, and trains Supply & Demand Planning super user and end user community and ensures accuracy of their work.
- Documents and coordinates Supply & Demand Planning end user training.
- Coaches, supports, and motivates end users with continuous process improvement; monitoring end user performance and determining ongoing training needs.
- In collaboration, researches, analyzes, and documents Supply & Demand Planning enhancements.
- Stays up to date with and has a working knowledge of all other department processes to evaluate how Supply & Demand Planning solutions can provide support.
- This position requires a minimum of five years' experience with application super user support and process improvement and development.
- Advanced knowledge of Supply & Demand Planning.
- Proficiency with Microsoft office, including skills with Word and Excel is necessary
- This position requires exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- The ability to work efficiently under pressure, accurately meet deadlines and present a professional demeanor is essential.
- Proven ability to work independently and in a team, multi-task, and manage multiple initiatives to meet various deadlines simultaneously is required.
- Proven customer service skills, including the ability to manage and respond to different customer situations while maintaining a positive and friendly attitude are essential.

- In addition, organizational and problem-solving skills, a can-do attitude, and the ability to adjust to changing requirements are essential.
- This position requires an associate degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Certifications in relative technology is required
