Reads work instructions for product specifications, dimensions, tolerances, and tooling instructions. Operates machine(s) and verifies conformance of work piece by following the quality plan specifications and dimensional tolerances as well as visually inspects parts for non-conformance. Follow standard operating production procedures and work instructions. Perform work in a systematic manner to insure all steps are carried out in proper sequence. Read measuring devices to insure quality standards are met. If the operation is causing quality issues, the machine operator will stop production and consult with the Lead Person, Quality and/or Supervisor. Set-Up parts according to set-up sheet, blueprint, etc, and make machine adjustments &/or tool settings. Record production results upon completion of job order or at the end of the day if job order is not completed. Properly sets any required offsets for the part to be machined after a basic tool setting process has been completed. Correctly interprets a CNC program. Must have experience interpreting blueprints

Must have experience with Micrometers and Calipers.

Must have set up / change over experience

Must be familiar with CNC programs (basic G&M Codes)
