Sr. Network Engineer

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
  • Display adaptability, analytical thinking, complex problem solving, and operations analysis
  • Build a strong team dynamic to promote collaboration
  • Bachelor’s degree in MIS / CS or related is required

Desired:
  • Cisco / relevant industry certifications
  • 7+ years of experience supporting enterprise scale networks utilizing dynamic routing, firewalls, and SDWAN, VPN, L2, and L3 Routing and VLAN Tagging
  • Extensive experience with Cisco phone systems / routers, Meraki switching, firewalls, wireless technology and Azure networking concepts
  • Prior experience with Windows Server management, specifically roles such as Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, PKI, NPS
  • Experience designing, integrating, and managing complex technical solutions

Responsibilities:
  • Designing and implementing new network solutions and improving the efficiency of current networks
  • Investigating and resolving faults in the network with urgency and with detailed follow up
  • Reporting network status to management
  • Installing, managing, and supporting remote network hardware and services, including on-premises and cloud connectivity, switching, routing, firewalls, SDWAN, and wireless technologies
  • Maintaining appropriate software levels and configurations as defined by industry standards
  • Scheduling work with colleagues, remote site personnel, and partners for necessary network migrations, installs, upgrades, and changes
  • Analyzing system performance and suggesting and implementing tuning
  • Ensuring proper creation and configuration of necessary monitoring
  • Confirming network deployments and changes align with approved security protocols
  • Designing and implementing automation for predictable, repeatable tasks
  • Assisting with 24/7/365 on-call duties, including responding to and resolving production-down issues
