In this position, you will assist in the creation, implementation, and/or management of applications as well as tasked with the strategic design and implementation of Identity Solutions. Prospective candidates should have in depth understanding of Identity & Access management, roles & entitlements management, design & implementation of large scale IAM solutions as well as cloud services. The Enterprise IAM Lead Developer will help drive the design, development and delivery of an IAM architecture team and related solutions to enhance First American's capabilities. This role must have both strong technical and communication skills to fully contribute to the introduction of this new technology. The position will need to influence and communicate with customers from all sections of the enterprise - including end user, technical resources, IT leadership and other business leaders, as well as drive technical excellence through implementation. The development of strong governance and operating procedures, and the communication of these policies, is also required.This position will deliver services that will form the backbone for user identity management throughout the enterprise, interacting with many critical business applications, both immediately and into the future. Participate in the design, development, coding, testing, debugging, and maintenance of software code for business applications. Responsible for middle-tier implementation and integration with backend databases. Work with technical staff to understand problems with software and develops specifications to resolve them.Essential Functions

  • Strong understanding of Identity Management processes and best-practices and the ability to set enterprise wide standards and strategies
  • Participate in defining architecture and process standards for the identity management platform; contribute to ongoing evolution and development of IAM strategies, roadmaps and plans
  • Integrate IAM systems with in-house and third party applications for provisioning, identity authentication and systems resources authorization, developing connectors between IAM tools and systems resources
  • Work with application developers and IT operations to develop, test, roll out and maintain enterprise-wide IAM solutions and services
  • Lead quality control and quality assurance activities, such as developing and executing test plans / scripts and resolving deviations or exceptions, for newly developed and/or enhanced IAM solutions
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex authentication, authorization and integration problems
  • Works with Project Managers and Business Analysts to produce project delivery estimates and manage the transition from analysis through to design and delivery
  • Required to perform duties outside of normal work hours based on business needs.
Knowledge and Skills/Technology Used
  • Familiarity with IAM solutions including ADFS, MIM and Cloud Services, SAML, OAuth, Active Directory, LDAP and others
  • Firm understanding of various web authentication & session management methodologies
  • Strong proficiency in cross-platform modern .NET and C, with reasonable knowledge of current language paradigms (i.e. C11, C14)
  • Development, Programming/scripting experience with SQL, Perl, Java, or PowerShell. J2EE, Java, JavaScript experience a plus
  • Must have hands-on experience developing and deploying large-scale enterprise Identity & Access Management solutions
  • Experience with AWS and Azure Cloud computing frameworks, infrastructure, and application environments
  • Responsible for top-tier implementation and integration with backend databases
  • Has full technical knowledge of all phases of application programming
  • Define and split large architectural objectives into smaller incremental objectives
  • Troubleshoots and guides others on a wide variety of complex problems and identifies solutions within broad application and functional expertise
