9454BRTitle:Analyst, Sales PlanningJob Description:The Sales Planning Analyst assists in annual sales planning and monthly forecasting and performs analysis and reporting that enables sales execution, sales force effectiveness and productivity. Supports Sales Management in sales plan territory breakouts and sales quota setting. This position is responsible for accurate and timely delivery of monthly sales reporting to Senior Management and recommends opportunities for process improvement for reporting (OBIEE) and develops and implements relevant and actionable analytics for global sales organization. Aids in the company-wide implementation of Oracle Cloud solutions.

Assists in developing annual global sales plans by analyzing sales trends, building spreadsheet models and collaborating with Marketing/Sales/R&D/Regulatory Operations.

Forecasts worldwide sales by reviewing sales trends and working with Marketing and domestic and international sales teams.

Performs various sales analyses, produces ad hoc reports, summaries and graphs, and provides quantitative/qualitative trends assessment that provide objective and actionable insights to the global Sales Organization to efficiently execute business plans.

Optimizes sales performance by monitoring indicators, highlighting trends and analyzing causes of unexpected variance.

Updates monthly sales reporting packages, proactively identifying opportunities to improve existing sales reports and unmet needs for additional sales reports/analyses for commercial sales organization to increase sales performance.

Leads the development and assists in obtaining approval of North America (NA) sales compensation plans including NA sales territory breakouts and sales quota.

Works with the MV BI applications team to convert all existing reporting to OBIEE (Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition) and address all future and unmet reporting needs for producing enterprise reports, scorecards, dashboards, ad-hoc analysis and OLAP (Online Analytical Processing) reports, such as predictive “what if” scenario planning that results in improving sales productivity.

Collaborates with Terumo Americas Holding (TAH) Financial Systems team on systems-related projects including the initial implementation, future upgrades/enhancements and regular maintenance and configuration of Oracle EPM Cloud solutions.

Prepares presentations to Board of Directors and Operations/Senior Sales Management.

Performs additional responsibilities as assigned.

Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or equivalent experience.

Three (3) to five (5) years of related experience.

Experience in sales planning and sales operations.

Creative thinking with ability to self-manage, take appropriate initiative, and drive for business positive outcomes.

Good understanding of accounting and corporate finance principles.

Expertise with summarizing the essence of large volumes of data or complicated situations, issues and trends in simple terms, slides, graphs or spreadsheets.

Advanced MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint proficiency.

Expertise in developing reports, summaries, commentaries and presentations.

High level of communication, interpersonal skills, analytical and quantitative skills.

Ability to think strategically, logically and objectively.

Communicate effectively with Sales, Marketing, Operations, Customer Service, Regulatory, R&D, Accounting/Finance and IT across various regions.

Possess knowledge of medical device business and technologies.

Experience in the medical device industry and multi-location businesses a plus.

Experience with Oracle/Hyperion Planning suite of solutions including EPBCS (Enterprise Planning and Budgeting Cloud Service), Hyperion Planning and SmartView highly desirable.
