Shipping and Receiving Clerks (Wisconsin Rapids)

SHIPPING AND RECEIVING CLERKS

We are hiring for Shipping and Receiving Clerks in an essential, manufacturing plant. Employees will be responsible for manual and clerical duties related to the preparation and shipment of customer samples, components and finished products. The positions are on 1st shift, Monday through Friday, from 8 – 4 pm at $12.00 per hour. Responsibilities:

Receive and send out products in a timely and correct manner.

Inspect goods for defects, damage and imperfections.

Check incoming/outgoing materials against shipping documents and authorizations, for the right amounts and part and lot numbers.

Maintain accurate and thorough record keeping.

Cross-train in other areas as necessary.

Qualifications:

High school diploma/GED

Perform basic math calculations

Ability to understand written, oral or diagram form instructions

Stand as needed for entire shift

Lift 50 lbs. on occasion

Willing to learn to operate a forklift
