Engineering Student for Internship

W.E. Gundy & Associates is an innovative structural engineering firm that provides structural evaluation of electrical-mechanical equipment and associated structures for seismic, wind, ice, snow, wave, and operational loads worldwide. We work in Boise on exciting energy projects throughout the US and oversees. Our mission is to serve the power industry in providing technically sound, practical, economical, and timely solutions for structural and earthquake engineering applications.

We are looking for a student (or soon to graduate) who is working on a BS or Masters in Civil / Structural Engineering with some coursework taken in structural steel design, structural dynamics, and/or earthquake engineering. A successful candidate should have excellent verbal and written communication skills, a fundamental knowledge of structural design concepts, limited/minimal entry level work experience, and be proficient in MS Office Suite. Knowledge of SAP2000 or other structural analysis programs and Mathcad is a benefit.
