Yard Technician / General Laborer

Rate of pay is $17.00-$18.00/hr to start.

SUMMARY

The Yard Technician/ General Laborer is responsible for the organization and presentation of the outdoor trailer and product areas. Maintains the appearance of the lot, unloads, receives freight. Assembles trailers and assists with service and maintenance duties as directed. Provides customer service in support of store sales and service activities.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Assemble trailers

Light mechanical and electrical work on trailers such as lights, brakes, and electrical troubleshooting

Park and move trailers

Wash and prepare trailers for delivery.

Help customers hook-up trailers. Perform visual safety inspection (lights, safety chain, decking, etc.)

Maintain lot including but not limited to mowing, weed removal, snow removal, picking up trash, installing exterior signs, banners, or flags.

Receive and stock trailers, parts, and supplies.

Support Service Technician as needed.

Support opening and closing of the store as directed.

Clean and organize store and support areas as directed.

Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

Ability to communicate clearly and follow direction

Valid Driver’s License

High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) preferred

Availability to work Monday – Saturday and overtime when needed

Forklift experience preferred
