Automotive/Transmission Technician

Flathead Transmission Specialists is hiring automotive technicians. We specialize on transmissions, performing everything from proper maintenance to full transmission rebuilds. The new team members will primarily be pulling out and installing transmissions as well as performing transmission services and flushes. As knowledge and skill levels increase, they will have opportunities to carry out more in-depth repairs. Our shop provides uniforms and tools. Our hours are 8:00 to 5:00 Monday to Friday with overtime available but never mandatory. We do provide vacation pay, holiday pay, and weekly production bonuses on top of hourly wages. Wages will depend on experience.

Attitude: Be a hard worker. Be determined to learn and retain new skills. Be helpful to your coworkers. Good time management. Willingness to clean the shop, everyone pitches in to keep the shop safe clean and efficient.

Qualifications: All skill levels should apply. Previous automotive and mechanical job experience is preferred but not required. The ability to read and write legibly. Basic computer skills. A valid driver’s license and be insurable through our business policy.
