Lead Cook - Nights/Weekends/Holidays Off - Sick/Vacation Pay

The Missoula Senior Center was established to develop, implement, and promote programs and services that support the physical, intellectual and emotional health and well-being of Missoula's 55+ community. We strive to serve as a focal point for community projects that enhance health, education, recreation and socialization of our members and their families. We also serve the general public including those who are under the age of 55.

We cook real food, from scratch and truly have the ability to be creative and unique with our monthly menu's. This is a communal meal setting where our local senior community is able to socialize over lunch, along side their fellow Missoulians in a welcoming environment.

The Missoula Senior Center is currently hiring an Assistant Lead Cook!

This position includes helping set-up the kitchen daily, performing prep work, cooking lunch, serving guests lunch, and helping breakdown/clean the kitchen afterward. We are a small team largely composed of volunteer helpers which also takes the ability to supervise others, and communicate effectively.

This position is approximately 30hrs per week, Monday - Friday with nights, weekends, and major holidays off!

Hours are 8am-2pm however we are able to be flexible to a degree.

We also have paid vacation, and sick leave available for all employees

Compensation is competitive, and based on experience.
