Our Dallas based client is seeking a front-end developer for a contract to hire opportunity.

Front-end Developer JOB DESCRIPTION We are looking for a front-end developer that knows that HTML5 is more than just a buzzword and can code custom, semantic HTML along with clean, concise CSS/Sass. You should also have a good understanding of presentational JavaScript (or jQuery). You can write your own scripts, work with designers and back-end developers, code HTML emails for the plethora of email clients out there and have attention to detail. QUALIFICATIONS
  • Strong knowledge of and ability to code custom semantic HTML5 and CSS3/Sass
  • A good understanding of Responsive Web Design and creating sites with a mobile-first approach
  • Ability to write custom presentational JavaScript/jQuery (without using plugins)
  • Ability to code custom HTML Emails and support multiple email clients (Gmail, Mail, Outlook, etc.)
  • Ability to use XD & Photoshop and other Adobe software to prep visual assets from designers
  • Ability to use Git using BitBucket
  • Understanding of Accessibility and its role in Front-end Development
  • Must have an eye for details and good attention to details
  • Must understand the importance of speed performance in front-end development

  • Work with and be the conduit between Designers and Back-end Developers
  • Participate in client and project team meetings
  • Communicate effectively with internal team and clients
  • Understand project scope and deliverables
  • Meet both internal and client deadlines
  • Keep abreast of new front-end development methods and technologies
  • Multitask on multiple projects with overlapping schedules
