Senior Data Analyst

Description We are looking for an experienced Data Analyst. To be successful in this role, you should be able to turn data into information, information into insight and insight into business decisions. Some responsibilities of the Data Analyst include conducting full lifecycle analysis to include requirements, activities and design, as well as developing analysis and reporting capabilities. The Data Analyst will also monitor performance and quality control plans to identify improvements.Major responsibilities- Support various departments, including marketing and sales, in reaching their goals through analysis- Own the maintenance of databases and perform updates as necessary for accuracy- Monitor data to identify changes in financial and business trends- Communicate findings of data analysis to managers, written and verbally- Assemble data recording systems and business analysis for the department to use- Collect and analyze data for various types of business reports- Generate business reports that provide insight into key data points- Analyze data reports to locate and resolve mistakes throughout Requirements - Experience with object-oriented programming and other data analysis programs (Python, R, MatLab)- 1 to 3 years of experience as a financial or data analyst- Skilled in creating pivot tables, graphs, and charts using data tools- Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively relate data to coworkers- Able to notice small details that could impact results- Analytical skills that support the development of data-driven reports- Understanding of business operations, objectives, strategies, process and information flow- Excellent critical thinking skills to help solve business problems and make decisions- Demonstrated ability to prioritize projects to meet deadlines and manage time Technology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.®Robert Half is the world's first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
