Duties include design, engineer, automate and maintain daily remote access technologies. The professionals must be capable manage performance and rectify any errors that occur within the virtual desktop environment. Partner and collaborate with Enterprise Security to understand and implement security standards to our VDI environment. Optimize and automate solutions for management and deployment of VDI applications, operating systems, updates, and configuration changes.They should have proficiency in ITIL and other IT operations frameworks. The professional should be able to provide all the necessary support for VDI and RDS. Role does not require travel but may require work outside of customary business hours and/or on-call rotation.Skills / Experience- 5+ years with configuration and support of VMWare Horizon and Microsoft Windows products and technologies.
- Knowledge of TCP/IP and interoperability with various network devices such as switches, routers, and firewalls.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Windows, VMware ESXi operating systems.
- Knowledge of information security techniques to maintain a secure and efficient work environment.
- Working knowledge of network tools, such as, Visio, Wireshark, etc.
- Good analytical and problem solving skills.
- Basic understanding of MS SQL databases.
- Ability to communicate with other employees in the company in both technical and non-technical roles.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
