Overview of the Position Responsibilities: The Bluepeak Connected Properties Account Executive implements sales strategies aimed at providing service to residential multiple dwelling unit (MDU) properties maximizing product and service penetration and generating new revenue. An Account Executive will be responsible for generating leads, following up on opportunities, negotiating, and offering quotes to establish access agreements with Multi-Dwelling Units. Additionally, the employee in this position must be willing to host/sponsor agreed upon events to promote Bluepeak and its services when necessary. If this sounds exciting, please read on.

This position is remote and must be located in within either of markets including SD, MN, ND, WY, OK, CO. This position will require up to 30% travel within our markets.

What You Will Do:

  • Achieve and exceed personal sales quota - succeed and drive growth for both yourself and the company
  • Develops and maintains a sales funnel - visits or telephones potential customers to discuss service needs; follow up on leads generated by marketing activities; develop referrals and make contact to other potential candidates in assigned territory; sell bulk fiber service to multi-dwelling units when appropriate
  • Provide assessments and conduct presentations on findings – work with engineering department to identify special wiring or hardware needs to ensure timely and efficient installations and present solutions to property owners
  • Communicate effectively – regularly relay progress and results with sales leadership through Salesforce by maintaining records and inputting data on sales activities
  • Duties as assigned

What You Will Need:

  • High School Diploma or GED required and five years of experience in outside sales (preferably in telecommunications and/or Multifamily housing or property management) and/or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Associate or Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Upon job offer, must be able to complete a background check and a drug test prior to employment
  • Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license and have reliable transportation
  • Ability to make credible presentations of financial offers and the ability to interact effectively with various levels of individuals from executives to leasing agents to end-users
  • Salesforce experience preferred
  • Detail oriented and organized
  • Competency in both oral and written communication modes for both internal and external personnel at various levels
  • Culture carrier who energizes, engages, and leads through continuous change
  • Self-starter with the ability to independently plan, organize, and prioritize sales initiatives, project, and performance objectives with clearly defined metrics
  • Strong collaboration with direct reports, peers, and executive leadership to provide key on-the-ground insights and feedback to support the development of regional strategies

Colorado Residents Only: The pay for this position has a base annual salary of $40,000 plus commission. Total target compensation of $67,200 at 100% to goal. Certain positions are eligible for additional forms of compensation such as bonuses.
