Cyber Incident Manager III to join one of our clients in supporting the mission of a Federal Agency. This position requires a

TS/SCI clearance and at least five (5) years of experience. The

Cyber Incident Manager III will have the opportunity to support our client through onsite incident response to Government agencies and critical asset owners who experience cyber-attacks, providing immediate investigation and resolution. Contract personnel perform investigations to characterize the severity of breaches, develop mitigation plans, and assist with the restoration of services. Responsibilities of the

Cyber Incident Manager III:• Ideal candidate will be confident in the responsibility of correlating incident data to identify security breaches and trends in reported incidents• Work closely with client representatives to perform computer network defense architects and incident triage to determine the scope, urgency, and severity of impact • Ability to apply cybersecurity concepts to detect and determine potential defense intrusion measures into small-, and large-scale IT networks • Provide extensive feedback and routine updates on the development side to ensure a secure and reliable product • Ability to determine and identify the cause of an incident and recognize the specific elements or source of external entities when learning the background and potential infection vector of an incident • Must be able to track and document Computer Network Defense (CND) incidents from detection through resolutionQualifications for the

Cyber Incident Manager III:• Bachelor's of Science in Cyber Security, Incident Management, Operations Management or related technical degree• 5+ Years of experience in cyber incident management or cybersecurity operations • Familiarity with NIST 800-62 (latest revision) and FISMA standards pertaining to reporting incidents and NCCIC National Cyber Incident Scoring System for prioritization • Experience and knowledge of general attack stages - foot printing and scanning, enumeration, gaining access, escalation of privileges, maintaining access, network exploitation, covering tracks, etc • Knowledge of system and application security threats such as buffer flow, mobile code, cross-site scripting, PL/SQL and injections, return oriented attacks and malicious code • Must be able to obtain DHS suitability • Must have an active TS/SCI clearance Compensation for the
