Network Administrator

Description:Direct Hire.

Responsibilities:
  • Maintain network infrastructure, including switches, routers, VPN, LAN, and WAN
  • Ensure network and communication devices are functioning properly
  • Manage network security including end-point security, firewalls, multi factor authentication, and Cloud backup for Disaster recovery
  • Monitor network performance and troubleshoot any issues
  • Install, maintain, upgrade, and patch all network servers
  • Plan, schedule and execute equipment installations, imaging, upgrades, and replacement projects
  • Provide network support while identifying and solving issues that arise
  • Manage Microsoft 365 infrastructure including Azure AD Connector, account creation, and policies
  • Manage Wireless network configuration, monitoring, and maintenance, including the cloud key, gateway, POE switch and Access Points
  • Maintain Active Directory, including forest and domain level upgrades
  • Manage and maintain NetApp Storage Arrays, Snapshot management, Replication management and upgrades
  • Assist in support of on prem and Azure virtual machines
  • Manage and oversee telephone system
  • Conduct research on products (trends in technology) in support of procurement and development efforts
  • Provide technical support to users
  • Some travel required
  • Other duties as required

Skills & Experience:
  • S. degree or equivalent work experience
  • At least 2 years of related experience
  • Proficient in Fortinet firewalls and Cisco switching
  • In depth understanding of VOIP telephone systems
  • Experience with Microsoft 365 administration
  • Experience with Microsoft Windows and Linux servers, Cisco switches & routers, VMWare, Palo Alto firewalls, Fortinet firewalls, Ubiquiti Wi-Fi products, Cortex and VPN, DUO MFA and Veeam products
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills
  • Self-sufficient with ability to handle daily tasks with minimal supervision
  • Ability to lift 50lbs during installation and maintenance of Enterprise level IT equipment
