Cloud Security Engineer

Job Description Role DescriptionErisX, a Cboe Global Markets Company, is looking for a motivated and engaged engineer as we build out our cloud security capabilities. This is a person who can work seamlessly across our technology stakeholders to navigate our cloud security needs. Incorporating infrastructure design, maintenance, support, and of course security as we continue to grow and mature our already cloud-native presence.Responsibilities

• Cloud enthusiast who loves infrastructure-as-code and wants to do greenfield work
• Develop automation and self-service jobs with the cloud infrastructure teams
• Build and support infrastructure to support new applications and microservices as we increase workload in the cloud and develop new cloud-native applications
• Define security delivery strategies, standards, processes, technologies, and tools
• Develop and/or customize tools to enable other engineers such as CI/CD pipelines, container schedulers, and custom applications.

• Experience with deployment systems across major Cloud vendors including AWS and Google Cloud Platform, with strong expertise in AWS
• Experience in implementing Secure Architectures for private and/or public internet facing systems
• Experience with cloud-native security constructs and tools, such as GuardDuty, Prowler, OpenSCAP, and similar highly desired
• Strong understanding of networking and internet protocols and distributed systems
• Awareness of cloud cost optimization and budget management
• Working knowledge of Shared Responsibility models
• Prior experience building out CI/CD pipelines
• Applied experience and knowledge of Infrastructure as Code, with emphasis on Terraform
• Background in software development a plus
• 2-3 years experience working with 3 major cloud providers (AWS, Google Cloud Platform)
