your life's best work.(sm) Position in this function is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day support of benefit policies, plans and programs, to include health & wellness and retirement programs (third party vendors). Support configuration, issues, and enhancements within PeopleSoft core HR and benefit interfaces. Responsible for executing against the product strategy and vision outlined by the business. The system analyst will interface with vendors, HR, payroll, business, and IT teams. Should work with key business stakeholders to define, document, and prioritize changes, features and capabilities. You'll enjoy the flexibility to telecommute from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Support the day-to-day functionality of UHG's benefit systems and manage high-quality support and business queries resolution
  • Configure core HR, business process, and technical requirements within Peoplesoft
  • Define business requirements and translate them into the creation of user stories with acceptance and testing criteria. Review designs and coordinate demos with business partners
  • Interface with stakeholders to proactively address issues and support the service delivery
  • Plan, develop, and execute functional testing to support enhancements, fixes, or releases
  • Facilitate ticket resolution process including issue replication, troubleshooting, and root cause identification. Monitor and track open tickets and issues and update end users as needed
  • Work with development teams for benefit related Interface changes between PeopleSoft and third-party vendors
  • Execute against product roadmaps that focus the near and long-term future enhancements that increase that value over time; draw on an agile mindset
  • Ensure accuracy of employee data through regular reporting and auditing
  • Coordinate with core HR and payroll team for benefit related eligibility and deductions
  • Act as a liaison between business, benefit vendors and development teams
  • Supports annual open enrollment process including extensive testing for quality and accuracy
  • Knowledge of benefit retirement plans and benefit interfaces with external vendors
  • Work within an agile development/delivery framework
  • Uses excellent communication and presentation skills in working with business customers, peers, and team members
  • Support transformation from legacy on premise solution to cloud HCM solution

Required Qualifications:
  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of experience of benefits administration and operations and as well as direct experience with PeopleSoft HCM
  • 3+ yearsof experience working with external third-party providers for managing benefits Integrations
  • 3+ years of functional and technical experience working with HR and Payroll

Colorado, Connecticut or Nevada Residents Only: The salary range for Colorado residents is $66,100 to $118,300. The salary range for Connecticut / Nevada residents is $72,800 to $129,900.
