• Understand business requirements and come up with technical solution in terms of APIs Connect Platform deployment.
• Demonstrate the technical solution with Proof of Concept if required.
• Work on design, development and validation of the API Connect solutions prototypes.
• Technical expertise in the debugging of the APIs.
• Work with the API Management platforms to develop new Provider organizations, Products, plans etc. and test them.
• Should have strong knowledge on API Gateways implementation.
• Must have hands-on experience in API Security, Performance etc. Should have knowledge on SSL, Certificates etc.
• Experience working with IBM Datapower gateways is preferred. Knowledge of MPG, WSP, Crypto Keys required.
• Experience with DevOps tools likeGit, Jenkins, BitBucket etc for API promotions.
• Experience with various Test tools required SoapUI, Postman etc.
• Ensures that solution meets or exceed specified standards and end-user requirements.
• Lead analytical and consulting working sessions to solve technical problems faced by the application teams trying to onboard to IBM API Connect
• Understanding of leveraging Integration Patterns based on the requirements using Synchronous (REST, SFTP, GZIP, SOAP) and Asynchronous (Message Queuing).
• Experience working with monitoring tools like Splunk, Kibana etc.
• Web Services Interoperability knowledge
• Experience on Error handling and reconciliation mechanisms
• 6+ years of experience as the API Connect Administrator
