Mechanical / Machine design drafter- Solidworks

Location: Lincoln, RI Salary: EXCELLENT Description: Our client is currently seeking a Mechanical / Machine design drafter- Solidworks-ON SITEThe new product development team in the research and development HQ based in Lincoln RI is seeking 2 qualified individuals to become part of a team that is focused on mechanical and machine design / drafting in support of existing and new manufacturing facilities that are coming on line across the globe. The explosive growth (5000 employees) has created a need for at least 6 months with the possibility of going perm. The team of 50+ people uses Solidworks v.18 (they have 19) and AutoCad "draftside" which also has Solidworks embedded. (Either or is fine as long as there is strong proficiency in one.) Will be asked to handle simple 2D & 3D mechanical / machine overflow design drafting work like machine parts, assemblies, shafts, gears, bearings detailing work etc (small projects) This is a new facility, HQ R&D environment with office type cubicles and flexible hours. the team works 6:30-5:30 , so can work flex in between those times. Compensation is based on experience but will be correlated to mechanical / machine design drafting work.
