Please note that this is a hybrid onsite/remote role - week 1; this is NOT a 100% remoteExceptional long term contract role for a QA Automation Engineer with strong combined experience in automation and manual testing experience
- Experience in QA automation using Selenium/Webdriver and Java, Cucumber frameworks, Git, JavaScript and Jenkins
- Must understand test automation process – including identifying the scope of automation, driving the automation test development
- Must be very hands-on in developing end-to-end test scripts (User Interface/Database/Web Services)
- Experience with API testing, testing methodologies and tools such as Postman, Runscope and other REST API tools
- Experience in SQL and any scripting
- Must have experience working in an agile environment
- Strong problem solving, critical thinking and analytical skills to examine bug reports and prioritize necessary tests
- Thorough understanding and experience on build CI and CD
- Strong hands-on experience in defining approaches for testing multi-tier client/server applications
- Understanding of testing Microservice based applications (Java etc) is a major plus
- Good understanding of various testing methodologies
