AS A SOFTWARE ENGINEER/ARCHITECT, YOU WILL:
  • Collaborate with and mentor development teams to develop and review the right architecture or technical approach to ensure quality
  • Research and provide expertise on latest technologies and complex solutions that may be applied to future batch-related products or features.
  • Contribute to developing standards and best practices in product development.
  • Determine how to develop products that comply with Batch industry standards and protocols
  • Grow in the role and develop expertise.

WHO YOU ARE: You adjust communication content and style to meet the needs of diverse stakeholders.You scan the environment for new technical skills, knowledge, or capabilities that can benefit business or personal performance.You relate comfortably with people across levels, functions, cultures, and geography.

REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline
  • 7 years of related work experience
  • Knowledge and experience with defining and applying various software architectures, design patterns, and frameworks
  • Strong communication skills with all levels of employees and both internal and external customers-including presentations, negotiations, and written reports
  • Ability to travel up to 10%(including internationally)

PREFERRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:
  • An understanding or experience with Process Control or Distributed Control Systems
  • Experience with the ISA-88, ISA-95, and/or other Batch-related industry standards or protocols
  • Experience designing and developing robust, multithreaded applications
  • Experience with working within an Agile (especially SAFe based) development process
  • Experience developing applications in C and C#; and HTML5 applications
