Job Description: Workday Data Conversion DeveloperDuration: 12 months, possible extensionLocation: Fully remote. Client based in St. Louis, MO (Central Time)Apex Systems is working with an American bank holding company to support their Workday Financials implementation. The client is already live on Workday HCM. The Workday Data Conversion Developer will assist by helping the data conversion workstream convert systems of record data into Workday's conversion programs using technical hands-on development skills.Duties
  • Hands-on Development (will vary by role)
  • Data Conversions. Coming from various mainframe platforms. PWC is doing the heavy lifting but there will be additional conversions that US Bank is responsible for.
  • Integrations: Core Connections, EIBs, Workday Webservices, Soap, Rest, APIs, Workday Studio
  • Prism: Custom Dashboards and Reports. The business is responsible for doing their own standard reporting using pre-configured Workday solutions. Event-based Accounting rather than Summary Reporting
  • Platform: Any development that will affect the entire Workday Platform, such as application updates, new release, and data cleansing
  • Train and mentor other Engineers (FTEs) - They're upskilling their internal Mainframe Developers to become Workday Developers
  • (Not a formal Trainer, more leading by example and mentoring. Knowledge Transfer)Requirements
    • Mid to Senior level Workday development experience
    • Workday Financials experience is preferred but HCM would be OK
    • Experience in at least 1 implementation
    • Good communication
    • Strong documentation
    • Ability and willingness to train and mentor
