  • Thought leader who demonstrates command of category knowledge and spend to advise and help influence high-level stakeholders on strategic IT and technology decisions;
  • Sourcing expert who provides expertise in the strategic sourcing process (analyzing category spend, determining business needs, analyzing supply base, developing sourcing strategy, RFP development, vendor negotiation and communication, on-going category management) in medium to high value initiatives,
  • Skilled in project management and capable of leading and managing the sourcing timeline from start to finish to ensure the business achieves its objectives in a timely manner.
  • Uses extensive sourcing experience to build credibility through strategic partnerships with key supply partners and elevate the level of influence in the IT and technology categories as well as building strong partnerships and working relationships with key stakeholders at all levels, through frequent value add interactions.
Responsibilities
  • Perform market trend analysis, external benchmarking, spend analysis, supplier rationalization and development, supplier risk, performance and compliance monitoring, and ongoing supplier management for the company for the IT commodity.
  • Procure IT requirements while meeting business expectations:
    • Process annual renewals without disruption of support
    • Validate services and costs through contract documents for each type of IT commodity
    • Negotiate cost overages, policies or contractual terms and conditions
    • Facilitate purchase orders process with stakeholders and deliver follow up requirements as appropriate
  • Providing guidance in the supplier selection, qualification, development, and overall supplier management, including:
    • drafting, managing and terminating contracts
    • executing cost reduction projects through contract negotiation, process changes, and
    • implementation of sustainable cost controls, including collaboration with Finance to validate the impact of projects and contract negotiations
  • Perform proper cost analysis of renewals and new requirements
  • Provide periodic reports to Sourcing leaders and stakeholders
  • Identify and assess supplier capabilities; measure and manage supplier performance as well as maintain current supplier information in procurement systems.
  • Store all documents associated with renewal, including pertinent emails.
Separation-specific Responsibilities: As part of ongoing effort to execute on Company's strategic initiative to separate into 3 standalone companies, this role will support the DT Sourcing Team to prepare for Separation.
  • Actively support IT Sourcing leaders in separation activities
  • Define and execute separation strategy with suppliers in partnership with multiple-BUs and various functional owners
  • Drive the collection of updated requirements across IT
  • Sourcing, VMO and functional leaders for separation activities
  • Establish and maintain project plans for assigned supplier workstreams
  • Conduct supplier deep dives including but not limited to prepping and facilitating the sessions
  • Work with the team to establish strategy for third party managed software
Qualifications/requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college
  • Minimum of 7 years' experience in Sourcing preferably with IT Software sourcing experience or IT related contract management/analysis
  • Track record of building strong stakeholder relationships
  • Strong leadership presence with the ability to interface and influence C-suite executives
  • Strong oral and written communications skills
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills to effectively influence & lead change
  • Controllership and compliance mindset (transactional and process integrity)
  • Excellent time management and prioritization skills
  • Ability to understand financial reports and contractual language
Desired Characteristics:
  • Experience in operations and/ or sourcing in any multinational company
  • Demonstrated project management experience (develop, plan and manage execution to designed deliverables)
  • Experience managing global, shared service delivery in an outsourced supplier model (customer service, transactional processes, initiatives, reporting and metrics)
  • Flexible schedule to accommodate global time zones
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to cope with multiple complex situations daily
  • Strong skills in tools and proficiency in MS Excel, data analysis
