A large Chicago-based company is looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer, full-time and 100% remote within the US. This engineer is someone very well-versed in AWS who can help build out a common platform for the company's technology teams, and can bring in DevOps best practices. Someone experienced with either Terraform or Cloudformation, who can improve CI/CD times and set up monitoring will fit in perfectly here. Required Skills & Experience
- 5+ years of experience
- Scripts with either Python, Java, or C
- Infrastructure as Code: Terraform or Cloudformation (plus Chef, Ansible, or Puppet)
- Hands-on with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GithubActions, CircleCI, etc.)
- Proficiency in Linux/AWS environment
- Understanding of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes, etc.)
- 5+ years of experience with AWS or Google Cloud Platform
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or relevant discipline
- Monitoring tools: Datadog, Dyntatrace, Zenoss, and Splunk
- Strong scripting skills
- Cloud security principles
