Middle Tier Engineer

Location: Detroit, MI Salary: W2 Only. No C2C Description: Our client is currently seeking a Middle Tier Engineer TOP 3 Skills that need to be highlighted/Notes from Manager: F5 Load Balancing WebSphere WebLogic JOB DESCRIPTION:The F5 Load Balancer engineer or administrator will analyze and maintain the network's F5 Load Balancer infrastructure. The professional must be an expert in F5 Big-IP Load Balancing platforms and will possess a working knowledge of switches, routers, and firewall concepts. The ideal candidate would also have some Middle Tier engineer web experience with working knowledge and hands-on experience with WebLogic server administration. Experience with other web related technologies such as Red Hat Apache, IBM HTTP server (IHS), WebSphere and Microsoft Windows IIS administration a plus. Requireiments:MUST have F5 Load Balancer experience and MUST have WebLogic and/or WebSphere experience. • Must configure and maintain F5 Load Balancers and have good knowledge of WAN/LAN network management and monitoring.• Look into the daily administration of the network load balancer environment. • Keep track of network performance, respond to problems and deploy solutions • Implement, upgrade and install any new equipment required • Ensure load balancing configurations and PKI certificates are backed up • Create, manage and troubleshoot load balanced IP address spaces • Develop, collaborate, and implement technical solutions. • Support customer requirements in a 24/7/365 environment. • Develop and update technical solutions, operations, and maintenance documentation • Experience working independently on technical network activities in support of a client. • Experience interfacing with team members on requirements and solutions. • Responsible for loading and saving system configurations. • Map IP addresses with NATs and resolve routing issues with SNATs. • 5 years of experience monitoring and administration of F5 Load Balance appliance. • 3 years Web administration a plus Contact: This job and many more are available through The Judge Group.
