Financial Systems Analyst

Location: Chicago, IL Description: Hybrid Schedule Position Summary:This position will report to the Manager of Financial Systems and is part of a team tasked with developing, implementing and maintaining specific financial systems for the Accounts Payable Team. The Financial Systems Analyst will assist in the completion of day to day system administration related processes as well as the research and administration of changes and updates to the system(s).Role Responsibilities:• Perform maintenance of application metadata• Manage/monitor data integrity by performing problem identification & resolution of issues related to financial applications• Develop and maintain application security• Ability to work in a fast paced, deadline driven environment• Comfortable communicating with all levels of leadership, Business Units, and Teams• Provide data insight, extraction, and analysis as required to meet the needs of internal customers• Maintain and update system documentation• Participate in testing applications relating to upgrades and application/system modifications• Promote a risk-aware culture that proactively seeks to mitigate risk where appropriateMinimum Requirements:• 4+ years of demonstrated work experience in financial reporting, accounting, finance or systems• 2+ years of (SaaS) cloud application work experience preferably working with systems supporting Accounts Payable processes (SAP Concur & Ariba / Infor CloudSuite Financials )• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Computer Science or related field of study• MS Office (especially Excel)• Demonstrated ability to own processes• Must be able to interact effectively with varying levels of management and have the ability to work independently• Excellent analytical, problem solving, and communication skills required• Strong organizational skills and the ability to meet multiple deadlines within short timeframes a mustPreferred Requirements:• Accounts Payable background• Financial Services industry experienceContact: This job and many more are available through The Judge Group.
