We are currently seeking a SAP APO/ Purchasing Consultant for our client in the IT Services and Consulting domain. Duration: 6+ Month Contract Location: Beaverton, OR (Initially Remote) Salary: $40.00-$45.00/Hourly on W2 Role: SAP APO/ Purchasing Consultant Primary Skills: SAP Functional Role Description: The SAP APO/ Purchasing Consultant must have at least 5 to 8+ years of experience. Required Experience and Skills: - 5+ years of total IT experience, preferably progressive starting as programmer and growing into a Product engineer with supply chain focus - Progressive experience in SAP functional and testing with APO OR SAP Purchasing - Experience working in a public cloud environment, Particularly Azure/AWS data engineering services, resources and architecture. - Experience with practices like Continuous Development, Continuous Integration - Experience in architecting and delivering end to end solutions - Familiar with building real-time streaming data pipelines - Experience in building lambda, kappa and microservices. - Experience with source control tools such as GitHub and related dev processes. - Experience with iterative development and the Agile methodology. - Good to have Direct Purchasing, Retail/ supply chain industry experience.
