Caregiver/PCA/CNA

Compensation has been changed for this position to $16.00 per hour to start.

All you need is a desire to help others and you can work in the most beautiful Alaskan setting that any assisted living home has to offer! Big Lake Country Club, LLC, is located on 40 acres of trees, complete with all the rural lifestyle perks.

We have openings for

DAYS (7am-3pm)

SWING (3pm-11pm)

NIGHT (11pm-7am) shifts, full or part-time, and on-call positions.

All you need is compassion and the desire to help clients.

Our program provides supported living for individuals who experience developmental disability, mental illness and other challenges to independent living.

We supply 24-hour staff and supervision for our homes, each with 3 clients per home.

JOB DESCRIPTION: Assisting clients with activities of daily living - such as preparing meals, cleaning their rooms, laundry, money management and having fun. Our therapeutic activities include: horse riding, fishing, swimming, BBQ video games, puzzles, etc.), attending their doctor appointments, shopping, etc. Routine safety checks on each client and their rooms, prepping for the next day's activities, charting progress notes and other duties in/around the facility.

Our night shift is mostly cleaning the homes.

You must be at least 18 years old.

You may apply, but before you can become an employee, we will help you obtain:

- State background check and fingerprints. (This costs $75 + $35 for fingerprints)

- 1st Aid/CPR (bring your cards to the interview if you have them, please)

- Negavite TB test

For over 22 years, we have been training staff to work with disabled adults.
