About this role:Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Infrastructure Engineer - COTS Security Engineer for the Software Products Engineering Team as a part of the Software Enablement Service Group, accountable for governance of the lifecycle management of over 93% of all software products installed on Wells Fargo assets (servers, desktops, mainframe, network etc.). This team is accountable and responsible for identifying and managing the execution of activities in support of the lifecycle management standards and policies. This includes identification and validation of patches, configuration management changes, deployment planning of patches and/or removals of products when they are not compliant or at end of life.Job Overview:This role of Infrastructure Sr. Engineer will work as part of the Software Products Engineering group that will be responsible for security review of software products including identification and validation of controls for all of the 3rd party COTS products owned by the SES. This group consists of highly technical subject matter experts (Infrastructure Engineers) that will also develop, document deployment approach, game plans for product patches and upgrades as well as provide technical product consultation to application or execution teams as appropriate.As a Senior Engineer, the candidate will act as a Subject Matter Expert related to security and related settings for 3rd party/COTS software products. The person in this role will actively engage various personnel to ensure that enterprise standards, product vulnerabilities are quickly identified, communicated to our partners, and that solutions are created and delivered in a timely manner. This role will also shape how our current and future product offerings are serviced and secured within new and emerging application environments. Ability to work with internal Information Security teams to identify, analyze, and share correlated product specific security and security configuration controls.Required Qualifications:4+ years of Technology Infrastructure Engineering and Solutions experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

3+ years of information security experience

Desired Qualifications:3+ years of technical documentation and publication experience

Experience 1+ year application security vulnerability detection and mitigation experience

Experience 1+ years of technology vendor management experience including hardware, software or professional services

Education A BS/BA degree or higher in information technology

Knowledge/Skills/Ability Ability to perform advanced research and complex evaluations

Knowledge/Skills/Ability Ability to resolve and work through escalated and complex customer issues

Knowledge/Skills/Ability Ability to work effectively, as well as independently, in a team environment

Knowledge/Skills/Ability Knowledge and understanding of technology software: packaging, distribution, and troubleshooting
