It all begins with you.About this role:Wells Fargo is seeking an Investment Risk SpecialistProvide focused oversight of significant fiduciary and investment risks for the company and its customers. Responsible for measuring and analyzing the client's portfolio risk, model portfolio risk, fiduciary and investment related product risk, and associated liquidity risk.In this role, you will:Lead or participate with relevant business groups to identify, assess, manage and mitigate current and emerging investment risk within Fiduciary and Investment Risk Oversight

Contribute to assessing portfolio risk exposures related to investment risk

Perform and research complex activities related to investment risk generated by common factor models, time series models, pricing and valuation models, parametric simulations, stress testing, scenario data, and liquidity models

Present recommendations for resolving efficiency of investment risk management

Exercise independent judgment while developing expertise with various moderately complex activities such as common factor models, time series models, pricing and valuation models, stress testing and scenario data

Collaborate and consult with management regarding daily, monthly, quarterly, and annual investment risk oversight reporting

Required Qualifications, US:2+ years of Investment Risk, applied Math, Statistics, Engineering, Accounting, Finance, or Econometrics experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications:Advanced Microsoft Office skills

Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy

Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills

A graduate or higher qualification in business, accounting, finance, statistics, or economics

Progress towards or achievement of Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) certification

Experience or exposure with Bloomberg, MSCI Barra and/or FactSet

Working experience with the investment management industry

Experience analyzing financial markets and/or financial instruments for risk/return purposes

Ability to take initiative and work independently with minimal supervision in a structured

environment

Understanding of financial market instruments including fixed income and derivatives

Demonstrated ability to present and explain ideas in a coherent and consistent manner
