Description:Employees will be sorting plastic parts for Ford, GM, Tesla, and other automotive companies. Plastic parts that they'll be sorting; cup holders, plastic door handles, plastic seats, plastic bumpers, consoles, dashboards. They'll also be putting leather on the seats for cars. Pretty easy job. Standing for 8-10 hours a day.o Operate molding press/equipment per Company procedures.
o Review “Operator Display Board” prior to running production for work instructions and Quality Alerts.
o Assure product meets established quality criteria of zero non-conformances.
o Correctly record scrap every hour per work instructions.
o Correct application of all internal and external labels when required, including removal of all old labels from returnable packaging.
o Correct application of lot control numbers.
o Daily review all applicable quality alerts.
o Immediately notify Supervisor of all discrepancies to established quality checks (ie, sample boards, inspection instructions, SPC, etc.).
o Communicate production and quality issues/concerns with associates during communication meetings.
o Keep work area clean and organized.
o Participate in team problem solving activities (ie, 8D’s, communication meetings, etc).
o Responsible for following all internal and OSHA required safety procedures.
