Description: To set up, operate and write program for the Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM).

Plan and conduct day to day production assembly and press shop inspection operations.

Prepare dimensional reports for PPAP and prototype submissions accurately and on a timely manner as required.

Serve as liaison between customer and plant for EC changes and implementation.

To perform accurate calibration of all fixtures and keep records of them.

To create and modify CMM inspection programs for precision machined components, assemblies and tooling.

To operate other gauges and devices such as Height gauge, etc.

Ensure all parts being measured are identified in a complete and correct fashion and all data are kept up to date as required.

Maintain accurate records and documentation.

Promptly and accurately addresses the needs of both internal and external customers.

Overhead large crane (5 ton) operation.

Ability to read, comprehend and implement customer request, standards and requirements.

Ability to identify, review, inspect and order all tools and measuring devices.

Regular production checks and ensuring all data and reporting are timely and accurate.

Ability to analyze data and identify trends.

Contribute to the continuous improvement initiatives on all aspect of the job.

Keeps supervisor and other team members informed of progress, issues and/or concerns.

Promotes and maintains a positive team environment.

Work with other team members, supervisors and/or members of management to resolve departmental or company-wide issues and to implement new programs, procedures or policies.
