Assembly Test Technician

A company in Lake Zurich is seeking an experienced Assembly Test Technician to join their production team on a long-term basis. This company manufacturers high-end coffee machines which are used in restaurants worldwide. The environment is clean, quiet, and climate controlled. The starting pay rate is strictly dependent on relevant experience but the company is targeting $19 - $20/hour.Job Duties:Reads manufacturing orders, test manuals, wiring diagrams and schematics to determine testing procedure and equipment to be used

Tests functional performance the units by measuring amperage, voltage, ground continuity, etc.

Perform Hi-pot testing

Calibrates and program units to customer specifications

Troubleshoots and repairs as

Compares results with specifications and records test data

Analyzes test results on defective units to determine cause of failure

Confers with other personnel regarding testing procedures, results and how to resolve issues that arise

Must be willing and able to work in different areas of the plant when needed.

Works direct with engineering and manufacturing management to review test procedures and revise as needed

Creates or assists in creating and documenting standard work documentation

Ensures testing is completed in an efficient manner to maintain the OTD targets and customer acknowledgement expectations
