CNC Machinist

Pay: $22-31Shift: 1st Fri-Sun 7:00am-7:00pm OR 2nd, M-F 3:00pm-1:30amDescription:Sets up and operates a variety of machines/machining equipment.

Prepares and maintains the various types of tooling, jigs, and fixtures normally associated with the equipment/machines.

Performs routine preventative and corrective maintenance functions.

Maintains the appropriate documentation required in mechanical manufacturing processes.

Extra ability in programming is a bonus. Process/part improvement will be a skill that would be sought after. Troubleshooting the parts is necessary.5+ years’ CNC Machining experience or 1+ years’ machining experience with a certificate in machining.

Reading and interpreting information from prints, factory orders, routings and other internal documentation in hard copy or electronic formats.

Setting up and operating a variety of machining equipment/machines.

Downloading programs, making offsets and checking parts on computer controlled equipment.

Using appropriate gages.

Possessing a knowledge of basic shop floor mathematics.
