General Production Operator

Description:These employees will be General Laborers/Production Associates. When employees come in, they will start at the end of the line in the "wrapper station". This is where finished bundles of material come down (steel with foam insulation inside). At this station, employees will learn how to make tags for products, sand product down, among other duties. They put people in these positions as sort of a test run to see how quickly employees catch on, and who shows the most ability. As spots open up around the facility, the best GL people in the wrapper station will get moved to machine operator, roll former, and other roles.Embossing Area: In this station, it is basically wear the steel is getting cut down to its correct length. In this position, employees will need to learn 3 different work stations. Coils of steel also come into this area, so it also could involve some material handling. In this area, they are looking for a candidate that has done machine operation, but also operated a forklift and/or crane. They will also need to be comfortable operating a computer and working with measurements. 1. 1.5 year of tenure at a previous position in a similar type role is preferred. (no job hoppers)

2. Ability to lift 50+ pounds when needed

3. Ability to do basic functions on a computer as well as read a tape measure

4. Ability to work overtime (Occasional Saturdays)Nice to Have:

1. Forklift experience

2. Crane operation experience
