Ranch hand, barn help, horses (Pilot Hill)
FT ranch position (possibly two PT) available for horse-experienced person to help with facilities at horse rescue: fence install and repairs, groundskeeping, maintenance, other ranch projects, as needed. May occasionally help with feed, medicating, mucking, water, and/or turnout.
Hours are roughly mornings, M-F start 8:00a-12:00p, afternoon 2:00p-6:00p.
Potential to split to two positions, am & pm
Must be:
strong and able to lift, push, pull heavy loads (100#+), including hay bales
able to work in any/all weather conditions, summer heat to winter cold, wind/rain/mud
work well alone, work well with others (volunteers)
be a self-starter, able to prioritize and multi-task
follow instructions well
flexible to changing circumstances
punctual, dependable, reliable, trustworthy
18 years or older
legally able to work in the United States
Must have own transportation, clean driving record, and excellent references
No riding, training, or exercising with this position.
No drug or alcohol use/no tolerance; no smoking onsite
May also have PT work available at our used tack store with experience with tack, retail, and/or online sales
