Preschool/Toddler Teacher

Centro Armonia, Spanish Immersion School is looking for enthusiastic, and energetic people to join its team. We are a group of dedicated staff working with children 0 to 5 years old.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Assist with nap time, potty training and diapering, hand washing, keeping children clean , and continual up keep of cleanliness of center throughout day.

Flexible in keeping schedules, routines, shifting if needed based on children’s needs, and classroom management.

Knowledgeable of developing crafts and projects, reading stories, and conducting circle time.

REQUIREMENTS :

Native Spanish speaking and conversational English.

Pass a LiveScan criminal background clearance, including child abuse index.

Pass a physical health screening, including negative TB test.

Must be 18 years old and Proof of eligibility to legally work in the U.S.

DESIRED QUALITIES:

Have completed 12 core ECE Units (Child/Human Growth and development; Child, Family and Community; and program/curriculum).

ECE units are a plus, but not necessary. We will pay for your units if you decide to get them

Current Pediatric CPR/First Aid Trained is plus

Team player and great communicator

Strong work ethic

Ability to teach in a diverse environment where children's individual development and needs are the guide for what to teach them, not their age.

Professional, reliable, and responsible

COMPENSATION:

Part time and full time opportunities 4, 6, and 8-hour shifts available.
