$5000 sign on bonus! The Clinical Training Coordinator will be responsible for the delivery and coordination of training to all staff and will provide instruction in assigned training sessions to employees in an in-person or virtual setting. This position will also be responsible for oversight and administration of agency training platform.

Education and Experience: MS/MA in a behavioral science. Two (2) years' experience in conducting and developing clinical training. Proficiency in written and interpersonal communication and Microsoft applications. Familiarity with Oregon Administrative rules preferred. Experience in psychiatric treatment setting with adolescents or children a plus.

Minimum Qualifications:

Provide proof of current, valid Oregon Driver's License (or if out-of-state will obtain Oregon license within 30 days), comprehensive automobile insurance (if applicable) and a safe driving record (minimum of 3 yrs.) to use company or personal vehicle for required duties.

Successfully pass a Criminal Background Check and Medicaid Fraud Check.

Ability to become a certified agency trainer in the following: ASIST Suicide Prevention, CPI and Collaborative Problem Solving (training for these certifications will be provided by the agency).

Essential Duties, Responsibilities and Core Competencies:

Work in collaboration with HR to coordinate and assign new employees to new hire trainings. Work with Managers to ensure all new hires attend.

Organize, develop, and conduct a wide range of high-quality clinical training, including but not limited to, Ethics, Regulatory Compliance, Trauma Informed Care, ASIST Suicide prevention and Collaborative Problem Solving.

Evaluate training needs, research, and develop training curricula and instructional methods.

Work with agency leadership and HR Director to map out required training requirements in conjunction with OARs, best practice QA/QI, and Kairos requirements.

Train crisis intervention platform, CPI (Crisis Prevention Institute) to all staff, upon hire and annually for refreshers, as a certified CPI trainer.

Provide skilled written and oral communication and instruction.

Chair the agency Training Committee and SIT Committee.

Coordinate travel arrangement for new hire orientation training and Kairos employees who are attending in person trainings.

Coordinate the preparation of new hire and agency training educational aids and materials, as needed.

Update learning management system and web delivery tools. Disseminate training information to the workforce, posting the completed training into the learning management system and running training data reports. Provide monthly, compliance, and annual reports as requested.

Participate in continuous quality improvement efforts.

Demonstrate flexibility adapting to program change.

Demonstrate ability to work independently.

Maintain strong personal code of ethics, including maintaining confidentiality, avoiding conflicts of interest, and cooperative working relationships.

Demonstrate and communicate knowledge of agency's policies and procedures and information pathways.

Provide responsive, high-quality service to all community partners, state and federal agencies, and clients served by providing accurate, complete and timely information in a professional manner.

Learn, uphold, and promote Trauma Informed Care as the treatment philosophy and approach in the organization.

Other Duties:

Perform other related work as assigned. Attend trainings and meetings as assigned. May be appointed to committees.
