Production Associate

Description (2 nd and 3 rd shifts opened)We are currently seeking qualified Molding/ Machine Operators, Polishers, Sanders, Painters and Inspectors for our state-of-the-art production plant.We are an Automotive Supplier working with BMW, Mercedes, Volkswagen and soon to be Volvo.

Looking for a qualified production worker who can use hand tools and sanding equipment to polish paint blemishes.

Once products come out of paint with a high gloss piano black paint they will move to the polishing team.

Polisher is responsible for inspecting the paint job and looking for defects.

Once they identify blemishes in the paint, they will conduct a polishing procedure that consists of sanding and polishing.

Candidates who have dealt with paint, polishing cars and have good eyesight to see some of the defects that may be hard to identify.

Candidates will have good manufacturing background, good with standing for long periods of time, good with their hands and able to use hand tools.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Anyone who has painted cars or has some quality background will be at an advantage.

Anyone who is coming out of a manufacturing facility or has good eyesight to see defects in paint will be at an advantage as well.

Candidate will be evaluated around attendance and ability to identify and buff out blemishes that come out of the paint process.

Work Environment

A tier 1 Automotive supplier working in a state-of-the-art facility. Will be working in stations up to 10 employees at a time.

Masks are required due to covid-19. Must wear long pants/blue jeans and wants us to provide everyone with Aerotek shirts.
