…Then the Idaho Springs Historical Society (Heritage Museum and Gift Shop) IS FOR YOU!

The Heritage Museum and Gift Shop caters to over 30,000 visitors annually. As the official Visitor Center for Idaho Springs, we support and promote the people, activities and businesses of Idaho Springs and the surrounding area.

The Visitor Center provides information ranging from overnight housing to rafting, hiking and biking trails, visits to Mt. Evans National Park, and all the great activities available in Idaho Springs. Did you know that we are #2 in rafting in the state of Colorado?

DUTIES: Cashier for Heritage Museum and Visitor Center Gift Shop; providing local and regional information to tourists and out-of-town visitors; additional fun little jobs as needed.

HOURS: Part-time and flexible; Mon-Sat, 10am-4pm (or 5pm); shifts as short as four hours per day; pay is $14.00-$16.00 per hour depending on motivation and performance. Employees get free museum entrance for themselves and up to five family/friends for a year, their own coffee mug for the employee coffee wall, a 10% on any gift shop items as well as a friendly, and a positive work atmosphere.

…At least 16 years old and have a valid Colorado State Driver's license or state I.D.
