Planner

Description:

Work with the manufacturing floor to set up manufacturing processes and deadlines

Ensure work orders are manufactured on time

Work with vendors on negotiations of raw materials and parts

Ensures accuracy of inventory counts by reviewing material in system and identifies discrepancies in inventory taking corrective action to guard against inconsistencies in the future

Manages the movement of materials through production

Qualifications:

1-5 year experience in aerospace or manufacturing machine shop preferred but not required

Experience with purchasing, expediting, MRP/ ERP systems, quality/continuous improvement initiatives, manufacturing safety practices and MS Office applications

Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and manufacturing instructions

Ability to read and interpret documents such as contracts, agreements, and procedure manuals as well as speak effectively before groups of customers and employees of the organization.

Strong computer proficiency (Project, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
