POSITION SUMMARY : The Broiler Manager is responsible for supervising the Broiler Service Technicians and assuring broiler grow-out quality through coordinating the efforts of management, service technicians, and division guidelines. We are working to ensure social distancing within our facility. We have installed physical barriers throughout our facility such as plexi-glass or plastic barriers between team member workstations. Each day, temperature screens are performed for each employee and visitor before entering the facility. Face coverings are provided and required over the mouth and nose at all times when inside the facility, and enhanced cleaning and sanitation is regularly performed ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned Responsible for supervising and appraising all employees under their supervision timely, accurately and objectively according to the Pilgrim’s Pride personnel policies and division guidelines.
Directs the planning and assignment of work for the most efficient use of broiler service personnel and equipment. Keeps informed on field problems. Training Broiler Service Technician in proper procedures. Promotes the Active Grower Management Program.
Required to perform regular Broiler Service duties as needed.
Reviews all building reports written by service technicians, including performance plans.
Organizes and conducts broiler technicians meetings weekly.
Maintains good communication between growers and Pilgrim’s to promote the best interest of the company. Communicating effectively with feed mill and processing plant.
Manages process improvements and problem solving utilizing continuous improvement and rational thinking methodologies such as Six Sigma
Other duties as required by management and supervisor.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS and ABILITIES
5-7 Years of Previous Related Experience
Bachelors Degree Required , agricultural related field and 2 years of related experience in servicing
Ability to lead and coach others
Must have a valid class D license; Good Driving record
Very good communication skills
High level of energy and achievement orientation
Ability to work effectively and under pressure with a wide range of personality styles
