Accounting Clerk

Description Robert Half is looking to hire an Accounting Clerk, whose duties will be matching invoices to purchase orders/ vouchers, data entry, and assisting with Accounts Payable (A/P) and Accounts Receivable (A/R). This is a short-term contract / temporary employment based in the Belleville, Illinois area. Do you thrive in an energetic, team-oriented environment? In this role you will responsible for AR posting payments in their software (VIP), you will be monitoring the aging report. You will also be processing AP invoices, posting payments and check runs. Data entry, document management, file creation and previous records experience required

Ability to multitask and communicate effectively with individuals of all backgrounds

Accounts Receivable (AR) experience desired

Demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Office Suites

Strong familiarity with Accounts Payable (AP)

Adeptness in Microsoft Excel

Check Runs experience highly desired

Knowledge of Post Payments

Foundational knowledge in Invoice Processing

Qualified in Spreadsheet and ERP system
